Empowering Healing and Hope

Healing Hearts, Rebuilding Strength

Introduction:

In Gaza, amid destruction and loss, the scars of war run deeper than the eye can see. For many mothers, survival means not only rebuilding homes but also reclaiming emotional strength. This is where the Zina Psychological Support Initiative steps in offering healing and hope to women who’ve endured the unimaginable.

Context: The Silent Crisis

Conflict and displacement have left thousands of women in Gaza struggling with trauma, anxiety, and loss. Despite growing needs, access to quality psychological care remains extremely limited. Local initiatives like Zina are lifelines,  yet they face resource gaps and immense operational challenges.

Through the Economic Empowerment & Development Program (EEDP), EmpactUs supports Zina by providing:

  • Strategic resources and clinical training
  • Capacity building for mental health practitioners
  • Operational and logistical assistance
  • Monitoring systems to ensure sustainable outcomes

Together, we are enhancing Zina’s ability to deliver psychological rehabilitation to war-affected mothers, empowering them to rebuild their inner worlds.

EmpactUs’s Economic Empowerment & Development Program helps community-based initiatives thrive in fragile environments. By providing microgrants, training, and milestone-based guidance, EEDP transforms small initiatives into scalable community solutions with long-term impact.

Through this partnership, Zina is now reaching more mothers, expanding its local support networks, and professionalizing its clinical approach. Behind every counseling session lies a story of renewal, a testament that healing is the first step toward empowerment.

By standing with Zina, EmpactUs reaffirms its belief that community recovery begins with individual healing. Together, we are turning pain into purpose  and purpose into progress.
