This is not fiction. It’s the daily reality of millions of young people across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), where crisis has reshaped what it means to grow up, study, and work. Across the EMEA region, conflict, displacement, and economic collapse have pushed young people to the margins. Over 13 million children remain out of school, and 4–6 million have been orphaned due to conflict and instability. Youth unemployment rates hover around 35%, leaving an entire generation without access to education, meaningful training, or stable work opportunities. Without intervention, this crisis risks deepening poverty, social exclusion, and hopelessness.
At EmpactUs, we believe every young person deserves a chance to build their own future, regardless of where they were born or what they’ve survived. Our mission is to educate, empower, and elevate youth in crisis-affected areas through transformative education and apprenticeship programs that prepare them for life, leadership, and livelihood.
